Hi, my name is Gideon, but my foster parents affectionately call me Deon! I made the big journey to the Save-A-Bull family all the way from New Mexico. At first, the travel was a bit overwhelming, and I was understandably scared and nervous. However, with the incredible patience and love from my foster family, including my doggy sibling, I quickly blossomed into a confident and playful pup! I absolutely love spending my days playing, enjoying chewy bones, and napping on the couch. The snow is no match for my spirit, and I'm mastering potty training with impressive speed. My foster parents can't get enough of my adorable quirks, calling me one of the cutest and dorkiest pups they've ever met! They adore watching my silly trot during walks and capturing my goofy moments on camera. I have a ton of energy and have even joined in on a few jogs – I have a seemingly endless supply of running power! But don't worry, after all that excitement, I'm ready to cuddle up on the couch with you. My fosters describe me as a well-mannered and easygoing puppy who doesn't chew on inappropriate items and is generally very quiet. Crate training is going well, especially after a good play session. I'm a curious fellow with a wiggly body and a mind that moves a mile a minute, especially when treats are involved! While I'm eager to learn and motivated by food and dedicated attention, I'll need a bit of patience as we work on training together. I'm so excited to continue my journey to becoming the best dog I can be. I can still be a little shy around new people and haven't had extensive experience with children, but I'm confident that with patience and practice, I'll become a social butterfly! I sleep soundly in the middle of my foster parents' bed each night and wake up ready for my morning potty break. I love snuggling in bed, stretching out, and giving little kisses. I coexist with a few cats in my foster home and would love for them to be my playmates! Sometimes I get a bit too excited with them, but I redirect well.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for someone who enjoys playing, showering me with love and patience, and who wants a best friend and companion for life. A doggy sibling would be wonderful to help me navigate new environments and show me the ropes.

I am getting the hang of potty training and crate training, especially after playtime. I can be a little shy around new people and children, but I am eager to learn and motivated by treats and attention. I redirect well when I get too excited around the cats.
