Meet MooMoo! This sweet 3 1/2 year old boy came to us as an owner surrender when he was not a good fit for the home. He is a high energy boy who has tons of energy that he is still trying to learn to balance out -- being that he is so young, he still has tons of that puppy energy in him! MooMoo's name was inspired by... you guessed it... a cow based off of his fur colorings. MooMoo does have separation anxiety, so he would be a 3-week foster-to-adopt to help with this and will need some management in the home. He could do well in a home with children ages 6 and up and could potentially live with another dog pending a successful meet & greet! MooMoo is the perfect example of our mission: to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals. Although all of our resident animals get plenty of love, many of them come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, extra attention and extra patience. To help MooMoo find his adoptive home, a generous donor has sponsored his adoption donation to help him feel extra loved! MooMoo is currently residing off campus at the Fayette State Correctional Institution where he enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement, and force-free training. Basically, he lives full-time with his new best friends and learns manners to better prepare him for you - his future family!
Ideal Home
MooMoo could do well in a home with children ages 6 and up and could potentially live with another dog pending a successful meet & greet.
Ongoing Health
All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before being made available for adoption.
Training & Support
MooMoo does have separation anxiety, so he will need some management in the home. As part of our Foster-To-Adopt program, for 3 weeks our trainers will work with you and MooMoo on his behavior and positive reinforcement training to facilitate a gentle transition into their new home.
