Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix weighing around 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. She can play for up to two hours straight and absolutely adores toys and enrichment, entertaining herself for long periods. She's very food-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. One of her most charming traits is her biggest, silliest smile when she's getting affection, and she's a world-class cuddler. When invited onto the couch, she's on her best behavior to keep her spot, and occasionally gets spontaneous zoomies, making her look like a baby goat.
Ideal Home
Cally loves other dogs of all sizes and plays beautifully with both males and females; another dog in the home would be an amazing bonus, though not required. She would also be perfectly happy as an only dog with plenty of playtime and activity. She is excellent with kids of all ages and is very welcoming to strangers. Cally needs daily playtime and chances to run (at least twice a day), a crate to decompress in, plenty of toys, and a person or family willing to keep up with her energy and continue her training.
Ongoing Health
Cally is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.
Training & Support
Cally is fully crate trained, house trained, and does great in a car kennel. She sleeps quietly through the night and can nap during the day as long as she's had potty breaks and at least an hour of play. While house-trained, she needs supervision indoors to prevent her from helping herself to shoes or blankets. She does not have separation anxiety and does best sleeping alone in her crate. Cally needs to be separated from other dogs at mealtime due to food-related resource guarding; feeding her in her crate works beautifully. On leash, she may pull at the beginning out of excitement but calms down with continued leash training.
