Chuck is a charming 1-year-old, 41lb Blue Heeler mix who's the total package: smart, athletic, loyal, and just mischievous enough to keep you smiling every single day. He found himself needing a fresh start at a young age, but thankfully his luck changed when he was welcomed into foster care. Now this happy, thriving pup is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. Chuck is curious, energetic, incredibly intelligent, and always ready for his next adventure. He loves to stay busy and bonds quickly with his people, happily becoming your loyal sidekick. He's eager to learn, highly food motivated, and incredibly bright, making training both fun and rewarding. After an active day, Chuck is more than happy to curl up for snuggles with his favorite humans.
Ideal Home
Chuck is looking for an active home that understands the needs of his breed and is excited to help him continue growing into the amazing companion he's meant to be. He thrives with consistency, positive reinforcement, and a family that enjoys working with such a smart breed. He'd be happy to have another playful dog in his forever home, though it's not a requirement as long as he gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. We do not know how he does with cats.
