Fritz is the distinguished older gentleman of the dog world, a seasoned professional at 11 years old who has life completely figured out. He’s housebroken, generally well-mannered, and knows exactly how to behave in a home. His goals are simple: snacks, a good romp in the yard, and a prime sofa location for his daily allotment of petting. But don’t mistake Fritz for a lazy senior; he’s eager to participate in activities and loves people, greeting everyone with enthusiasm. While he has a Great Pyrenees' watchfulness, his day-to-day personality leans more towards a golden retriever's love for human company and moderate activity level. Fritz is affectionate, predictable, and content just being with his people, settling into a new home like he’s always been there.

Ideal Home

Fritz thrives in a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can patrol his domain. He needs people to spend time with and enough activity to keep his curious mind entertained. He is not an apartment dog and will do best in a home where he can be the only dog and will also need to be in a home without cats, as he prefers a solo-artist lifestyle and sees himself as king of the castle.
