Cisco

Cisco is a truly one-in-a-billion sheepadoodle who is about 4.5 years old and weighs around 40lbs. He was rescued after facing euthanasia due to a biting incident with a stranger while on leash, stemming from poor socialization. Cisco lived with children in his previous home, but their interactions with him were less than ideal, so he would do best in a home with dog-savvy children or adults with extensive experience. He's a big fan of personal space and doesn't want strangers or children touching him without his consent. With proper introductions, Cisco blossoms into the most snuggly, affectionate, and adorable companion! He lives harmoniously with other dogs and enjoys their company.

Ideal Home

Cisco would thrive in a home that includes another playful dog and prefers a more rural lifestyle. He needs a home with dog-savvy children or adults with a lot of experience who understand and respect his need for consent and personal space.

Ongoing Health

Cisco is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cisco occasionally guards his toys from other dogs, but not people. This is something that will need to be managed proactively in his new home. Training classes or private training sessions in Orford, NH are included for free with his adoption to help him succeed.
