Wanda is a sweet 2-3-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who weighs around 38 lbs. She was found wandering the streets, malnourished and covered in ticks and fleas, searching for shelter and food. Despite her rough start, Wanda is incredibly active, playful, social with adults, energetic, and loving. She enjoys outdoor activities and daily walks.
Ideal Home
Wanda would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and can provide her with daily walks. She needs a home with a fenced backyard. Wanda is not social with big dogs and it is preferably for her to be the only dog in the home. She also needs a family with experience with the breed, an understanding of the needs of rescued animals, and experience with dog behavior and training. High tolerance and patience are a must, as she is not house-trained.

Wanda has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including:
- Spay/Neuter Certificate
- 2 shots of DHPPI Vaccine
- Rabies Vaccine
- Bordetella Vaccine
- Deworming
- 4DX Test and Certificate
- Heartworm test Negative Certificate
- Monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection (fleas, ticks, and heartworm)
- Health Certificate and Vaccines booklet
Training & Support
Wanda is not house-trained and will need consistent training and patience in this area. Her rescuers have put a lot of effort into her emotional rehabilitation and she needs a family committed to continuing this work.

Transportation
Wanda is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico. She is available for transport to the East Coast, with delivery to the adopter's home address. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
