She is the perfect blend of social butterfly and focused, currently thriving in a foster home with a pack of dogs and a 4-year-old child. Although she can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, she does great with slow introductions and warms up quickly. By the end of a playdate, she's usually everyone's best friend. Hazel is a wonderful social companion who genuinely loves being around other dogs. She greets politely on leash and, once she's had a chance to say hello, her curiosity and friendliness really shine. Her playstyle is sweet and observant—she prefers running alongside her canine friends, happily acting as the co-pilot rather than jumping into rough play. Hazel would truly thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and explore, as she loves having her own space to roam, play with her favorite toys, and hang out with her favorite human. Ongoing Health

Hazel has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Hazel is already crate trained and ready for her next adventure. Our on-site trainers assess and modify behavior as needed, creating individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

Hazel is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
