Meet Mali, a spirited and loving German Shepherd/Malinois mix who's about a year old. Mali boasts a unique liver-colored coat and a personality as big as her energy levels! She's a friendly, outgoing girl who thrives on human interaction and is always eager for attention. Mali is a smart cookie; she's crate trained, housebroken, knows how to sit, and is highly motivated by treats, making her a quick study for further training. Her intelligence and focus on her people mean she'll likely excel with continued positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Mali needs an active and outdoorsy family who loves to hike, run, and explore. She requires a securely fenced yard with a minimum 6-foot fence. Due to her strong prey drive and her mission to chase squirrels and other small critters, Mali cannot be placed in a home with cats or small dogs. She enjoys playing with other dogs but has a rough-and-tumble play style, so she would likely do best with a confident, energetic male dog who can keep up with her enthusiasm.

Mali is currently healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Mali is working on her manners, specifically jumping up when excited to greet people. Continued training with positive reinforcement will help her learn to greet everyone with all four paws on the floor. Her intelligence and love for treats make her an ideal candidate for learning new things.
