Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound bundle of Staffie mix joy is as sweet as her name. She's spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and is eagerly awaiting her forever home. Dolce has a wonderful balance of playful energy and a relaxed, affectionate nature, making her a truly special companion. She loves a good play session with dogs her own size, engaging in zoomies and tug-of-war with enthusiasm. After playtime, she's happy to settle down for some quality cuddle time. Dolce is also a dream on leash, walking politely without pulling, and she enjoys car rides. She has no known separation anxiety or potty issues and doesn't exhibit destructive behavior when left alone. Dolce is independent enough to enjoy some alone time but craves affection and is loyal to her people. She's a smart cookie and can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people, sometimes appearing shy at first. Slow, calm introductions are the key to helping her feel comfortable, and once she does, she's your devoted adventure buddy.
Ideal Home
Dolce would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs. She would be happy with a canine sibling or as the only pet, as she enjoys both playtime and quiet downtime. While her gentle demeanor suggests she'd do well with older, dog-savvy children, she hasn't been extensively exposed to them. She hasn't been up close with cats, though she does notice them from a distance.
Ongoing Health
Dolce is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
Training & Support
Dolce can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may initially be shy. Slow, calm introductions will help her adjust. While she hasn't shown resource guarding with her current foster siblings, separate feeding bowls are always a good idea during the transition to a new home.
