Aggie is a sweet 1.5-year-old pittie mix who's a delightful bundle of energy and affection, weighing in at a petite 35 pounds. She loves to start her mornings slow and snuggly before ramping up for mid-day play. Aggie enjoys her Kong, tug rope, running (she'd even make a great bike-running buddy!), sunbathing, snuggling, and a good game of fetch. She's also kennel and house-trained, making her a well-mannered companion.
Ideal Home
Aggie would thrive in a home with a large yard where she can roam and play. She'd do best as the only dog in the household, as she prefers not to compete for attention or resources. A quieter neighborhood would also be ideal, as bustling areas can overstimulate her.
Ongoing Health
Aggie is a healthy young dog.
Training & Support
Aggie is highly intelligent and incredibly food-motivated, which has made her training a breeze! With consistent daily practice, she has mastered "sit," "lay down," and "stay." Due to her street puppy days, she has a few quirks to be mindful of. Her high food drive means she eats very quickly, so we recommend using an easy feeder. She can also become overstimulated, and her prey drive means she'll chase small animals like squirrels and birds, and unfortunately, small dogs. While she walks well past other dogs, she can become reactive when released to play due to overstimulation. A responsible owner who understands and can manage her reactivity will be key to her success.
