Reader is a courageous puppy who has overcome parvo and is now ready for his next adventure! He arrived with a broken rear leg, which our incredible medical team will be surgically removing on 7.26. After his surgery, he'll need a few follow-up appointments but is expected to have no further complications from this injury. Reader is learning to be a bold and playful pup, and he's eager to find an active family to call his own! Like any puppy, he'll need patience and understanding as he explores the world and learns new things. He'll thrive with reward-based training for potty training and basic manners. Reader is approximately 9 weeks old and weighs between 4-6 pounds. He's expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog with moderate to high energy levels and will benefit from continued socialization with other dogs, people, sights, and sounds.
