Saphire

Sapphire is a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd, approximately 4 years old and weighing about 70 lbs. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston after being found as a stray. When she arrived, she was quite underweight, and we're still working on helping her reach a healthy weight. Despite her rough start, Sapphire is a fabulous dog who is very affectionate and sweet. She enjoys playing with other dogs and does well in her playgroup.

Ideal Home

Sapphire would likely do well in a home that can provide her with the space and stability she needs. We are still learning about her specific needs, but her sweet and affectionate nature suggests she would be a wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

Sapphire was underweight upon arrival and is currently being rehabilitated. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

No specific training needs are mentioned, but as with any rescued dog, consistent positive reinforcement will help her continue to thrive.
