Prince

Prince is a 3-year-year-old, 130-pound Great Pyrenees who takes his role as neighborhood security very seriously. He’s a classic Pyr who is always aware of his surroundings and will alert you to anything he deems important, from the Amazon driver to a passing squirrel. While he has his duties, Prince is also a silly, fun-loving dog with his people and is respectful of strangers. He enjoys bursts of energetic play followed by dramatic collapses, making him a joy to watch.

Ideal Home

Prince needs adopters who truly understand and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed and all its unique traits. He requires a securely fenced yard and is not trustworthy off-leash. He would do best in a home with teen-aged children or older.

Ongoing Health

Prince is selectively deaf, hearing only what is important to him.

Training & Support

Prince is not an obedience champion and is an independent thinker. He does shed and barks when he sees things, as is typical for his breed. He is housebroken and well-mannered in the home. If you tell him he has been bad, he will sulk.
