Leila

Leila is a beautiful female Pit Bull Terrier mix, born around February 2019. She was rescued in South Carolina after a very challenging start to life, but she's been working incredibly hard with a behaviorist to leave that past behind. Leila is a sensitive soul who can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her love is boundless and everlasting! She is also quite talkative, so be prepared for some lively conversations.

Ideal Home

Leila would thrive in a quiet, single-family home with a securely fenced yard. She absolutely must have a canine sibling to share her life with, as she adores other dogs. Homes with young children are not suitable for Leila. She also needs an owner who understands and respects her apprehension around leashes.

Leila is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Training & Support

Leila is crate trained and house trained, which are great foundations! She is looking for a very experienced owner who is committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence, especially around leash manners. With the right guidance and patience, Leila is sure to flourish.
