Meet Snowball, a joyful, high-energy almost two-year-old Great Pyrenees who is a certified "muddy buddy" at heart! If there is a puddle nearby—no matter how dirty—Snowball will find it, completely redefining "white dog syndrome" into a custom shade of swamp gray. This goofy, lovable boy is a total athlete who will absolutely crush your arm-day goals with his love for tug-of-war. He is also a master of surprise affection; Snowball loves giving massive hugs and is a stealth-kisser who can sneak a tongue in faster than you can blink your eyes. He has absolutely no concept of personal space, but he makes up for it with endless enthusiasm and a heart of gold. He's a hero who has been saved from euthanasia and given a second chance, and now he's ready for his next chapter: a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Snowball is looking for an active family ready to work on his basic training and manners. He needs a patient handler to teach him standard cues, leash etiquette, and the boundaries of polite greeting—specifically, that not everyone wants a 100-pound mud-hug or a surprise French kiss. If you have a secure yard, a great sense of humor, and plenty of old towels, Snowball is ready to bring a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and fierce loyalty to your home!

Ongoing Health

All vetting is included, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Snowball needs a patient handler to teach him standard cues, leash etiquette, and the boundaries of polite greeting. Continued training efforts will be required to help him be the best dog he can be!

Transportation

Snowball is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH, LA. AZ is coming soon! Predetermined locations and times apply. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-500. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. Texas Adopters have a $250 flat rate fee for transporting within the state. Our animals are brought to you in transport buses or vans equipped with air conditioning for comfort and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you. For those being picked up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee.
