Gunner

Hi there! My name is Gunner, and I’m a 45-pound hound mix with a big heart and a love for life’s simple joys. I’m laid-back by nature, but I light up when it’s playtime. Toys are my jam—ropes, frisbees, tug-of-war—you name it! I’m also an expert squeaker hunter (though fair warning, once the squeaker’s out, I lose interest in the toy). I really like kids! I will fill your day with plenty of love and affection. I’ve got so much potential just waiting to shine, and all I need is a home where I can be myself—a happy, carefree dog. I’m a smart boy, too! I walk like a champ on leash, and I even follow off-leash pretty well. I am starting to lose my hearing so I'd need to be careful if allowed off leash as I may not hear you call me back. I’m both crate and house-trained, so you don’t have to worry about me learning the ropes. I am not good with other dogs as I don’t like to share my toys, food or water with them. Don’t worry, I’m totally comfortable with people around me while I eat and play.

Ongoing Health

I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. I am starting to lose my hearing.

Training & Support

I am crate and house-trained and walk well on leash. I follow off-leash commands well but due to my hearing loss, I may not hear you call me back.
