Chook AKA Chaz JuM

Hey there! I'm Chook, but you can call me Chaz JuM. I'm a handsome Bully Breed mix with a stunning red coat and the cutest quirky ears. I'm a compact guy, weighing in around 42 pounds. My foster parents say I'm a "rootin, tootin little bullet" once I get comfortable, and I love to let out a good bark and zoom around the backyard like a silly goose!

My journey here was a bit of an adventure, but I landed with some amazing foster parents who are professional dog trainers. How pawsome is that? They've already taught me "sit," "down," and my favorite command, "Place!" I'm also getting really good at following leash directions.

Ideal Home

I'd do best in a home with older teens, as I can be a bit mouthy when I play with my humans. Definitely no young children for me. I absolutely love other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions, though I can sometimes be a little pushy, I'm easily corrected. I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet.

Training & Support

I've got some great foundation obedience skills thanks to my foster parents, and they'll even send you home with some lessons on how to continue my training. While I'm generally well-behaved, remember I have a mouthy play style and would do best in a home with older teens and other dogs.
