Glover is a charming 8-year-old, 16 lb gentleman who looks like a Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier mix. He's a retired professional sidekick and toy enthusiast who settles in quickly and enjoys being part of your daily life. Glover is confident and curious, handling new people, environments, and other animals with an easygoing attitude. He's gentle and enjoys affection, though he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and dislikes being picked up. Glover has some age-related changes to his hearing and eyesight, but he navigates them with a charming "I've got this" attitude.
Ideal Home
Glover would thrive in a home where he can be near his person and have a peaceful place to call his own. Apartment living would suit him well, but he's adaptable to various home environments. He gets along well with other dogs, including large and small breeds, and calm, dog-savvy cats who appreciate a respectful housemate. He's not looking for a playmate for roughhousing or zoomies, but rather a companion who enjoys a good nap and personal space.
Ongoing Health
Glover appears to have some age-related changes to his hearing and eyesight. He seems unbothered by these changes and navigates his environment confidently.
Training & Support
Glover is described as incredibly low maintenance. He is happy to relax after a little exploration. His foster notes that he has excellent manners with other animals.
