Rex (fka Maui) (Neutered) (Photos 2/23/2025)

Rex is an adorable 8-month old male Pit Bull Terrier (possible Boxer) mix with a happy, outgoing personality and a love for playtime and attention. He came to us on December 21, 2024, along with his mother and sister, after being found without a collar or microchip. Rex has a handsome white-and-brown/brindle coat, dark brown eyes, and large, semi-erect ears. He weighs 34 lbs and was neutered on February 17, 2025, and also received a rabies vaccine. Rex enjoys being the center of attention and would thrive with an individual or family who has an active lifestyle and can provide him with plenty of playtime and engagement.

Ideal Home

Rex would love to find an individual or family with an active lifestyle. He needs to be the only pet in the home, as he does not get along with other dogs. Rex also does not accept cats into his circle of friends, so he needs a home where he would have no contact with feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Rex was neutered on February 17, 2025, and also received a rabies vaccine.

Training & Support

Rex displayed dominant behavior and tried to be the "alpha dog" with the other dog in his previous foster home. He is looking for a home where he can be an "only child."
