Opie

Meet Opie! This handsome young Belgian Shepherd/Malinois mix is a real sweetheart. He's already mastered house and crate training, making him a wonderful companion for any home. Opie is up-to-date on all his core vaccines, rabies, and has been dewormed and fecal tested. He's also microchipped with free lifetime registration and is current on his monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Opie would thrive in a home that understands that training is an ongoing adventure. He's ready to learn and grow with his new family!

Opie is in great health! He's been heartworm and lyme tested negative and is current on all necessary preventative care.

Training & Support

Opie is already house and crate trained, which is a fantastic start! Like all dogs, he'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement and daily training to help him continue to learn and thrive.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A $300 minimum tax-deductible donation is suggested to help us rescue the next animal in need.
• Previous adopters of AHRs have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee. A donation of their choice is welcomed.

Transporation

Opie is located in Fort Wayne, IN. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their own expense. We do not ship, and a meet-and-greet is required before adoption, unless you are a previous adopter.
