Ashton

Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart as golden as his coat. Ashton is adjusting to shelter life after his family moved and he had to leave the only home he's ever known since puppyhood. Despite this big change, Ashton is a happy and energetic boy who’s tackling everything with enthusiasm!

Ashton’s favorite pastime is a rousing game of fetch – he’ll happily bring the ball back for another throw, eager for more fun with his favorite people. He thrives on activity and companionship. While he's a strong boy and sometimes forgets his size, his sweetness shines through. He’s even done well with other dogs at the shelter, showing his adaptable and friendly nature. He's a large guy with a personality to match!

Ashton is looking for a family who will be committed to him for life and provide the stability he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is heartworm positive and will receive treatment at our shelter. He will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him happy and healthy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a big, strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, but he is very sweet.
