He's described as a "water dog" who will find any puddle, pond, or lake in seconds! Hugo thrives on structure, enrichment, and consistency. He's an intelligent dog who is eager to learn and be part of a team. Hugo had a rough start, being abandoned at only one year old. He was labeled "too crazy," but in reality, he was just a young, energetic pup who needed guidance. Now more mature, Hugo is looking for a patient and understanding family who can teach him to be a well-mannered house dog and provide him with the stability he deserves. With patience, plenty of exercise, and lots of water fun, Hugo will blossom into an incredibly loyal, joyful, and adventurous companion. He's ready for his second chance and a lifetime of love and splashes!

Transporation
Hugo is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. Custom transports are available when needed. Transportation fees range from $150-$500, depending on the distance. For those picking up at our Angleton, TX location, the fee is $75. This fee covers transport and all vetting, including vaccines, spay/neuter, microchipping, and preventative care.
