Meet Della! This sweet 5-year-old Miniature Schnauzer is a true survivor, coming to us from a puppy mill where she spent years as a breeding mom. Now, it's her time to experience all the joys of a loving home! Della is a laid-back girl who absolutely adores attention. If you stop petting her, she'll politely remind you with a gentle nudge or a paw tap that she's not quite ready for the affection to end. She loves to cuddle up while you're enjoying TV or a good book, and she's ready to share her abundant love with her new family.

Ideal Home

Della would thrive in a quiet home where she can continue to learn and grow. She would benefit from a family who enjoys taking their furry friends for walks, and while a fenced yard would be a bonus, it's not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Della is scheduled for her spay surgery and dental work on July 14th. She is also currently overweight due to past neglect, and a daily walking routine will help her slim down and improve her overall health and happiness.

Training & Support

This smart girl is learning new things every day! She's getting the hang of walking on a leash and is discovering how much fun walks can be, especially with all the interesting smells to explore. Della is also working on her house manners; she'll potty during walks and is making progress with using pee pads. Her spay surgery is expected to help with house training as well.
