About Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweet and cuddly girl with a personality as delightful as her name! After a long wait, this loving pup is ready to find her forever home. She's known for greeting her favorite humans with a toy in her mouth and a wagging tail. Her foster family includes a young toddler whom Oreo adores, and a resident dog who has become her canine companion and mentor. Oreo hasn't met a person she doesn't like and thrives on affection, showcasing her joy with a thumping tail on the couch, playful antics with toys, and a gentle paw for more belly rubs. She enjoys her stuffed toys and a good game of fetch. Oreo also has a fondness for water and is the first to jump into a kiddie pool! While she coexists well with her foster brother, Oreo can be vocal when she sees other dogs on walks. This is an ongoing training focus, and if she joins a home with another dog, a calm male companion who can patiently handle her excitement would be ideal. Oreo is also reliably independent, showing no signs of destructive behavior when left alone. She's a well-trained and affectionate companion who is ready for adventures or cozy couch cuddles.

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a home that can offer her lots of love and attention. She would do best with a laid-back male dog who doesn't mind her vocal greetings on walks.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has successfully completed heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Oreo is house-trained and does not exhibit destructive behavior when left alone. She can be vocal when seeing other dogs on walks, which is a work in progress with her foster family.
