Meet Rusty!

Rusty is a handsome 1-year-old Husky/Aussie mix with a heart as big as his smile. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now looking for the loving forever family he deserves. Rusty is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. He adores his time outdoors, especially with a rope toy, but once he's burned off some energy, he's happiest snuggled up with his favorite people. His favorite place to be is by your side, ready for cuddles or just to hang out.

Rusty would make an amazing companion for a family looking for a best friend. He enjoys playing in the yard, going on adventures, and relaxing together after a long day.

Training & Support

Rusty is a smart boy who loves to learn. He already knows "sit" and "come," and is quickly mastering "stay" and "lay down." He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. He settles down well in his kennel at night and will let you know if someone is around with a bit of barking in the backyard, but he is not an excessive barker.
