Rusty II is a handsome 1.8-year-old, 65-pound male Plott Hound/Black Mouth Cur mix with a gorgeous brindle coat and a heart full of loyalty. He was found abandoned but has since blossomed with his foster family and is now eagerly seeking his forever adventure buddy. Rusty is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being by your side, whether you're out on a hike, cruising on an ATV, or simply relaxing at home. He's an enthusiastic participant in all activities and would likely be a fantastic boating partner! Rusty is great with kids and other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and has a particular fondness for water. He's also shown to be unbothered by cats and chickens, displaying a calm and curious demeanor. Rusty is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his shots, and will receive a health certificate before travel.

Rusty would thrive in an active home that includes him in their adventures. He loves being included in family activities and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys hiking, camping, road trips, or any outdoor exploration.

Ongoing Health

Rusty is current on all vaccines and is on Credelio flea and tick prevention and Interceptor Plus Heartworm prevention. He will have a full vet exam for a health certificate before travel.

Training & Support

Rusty is a fast learner who enjoys training, especially with treats! He already knows commands like "sit" and "no sir." He's eager to please and will continue to benefit from positive reinforcement and continued guidance as he grows.
