Meet Tux Fancy Pants, the most dashing gentleman in a built-in tuxedo! With his shiny black coat, floppy ears, and a smile that could melt a glacier, Tux is a perfect blend of handsome, goofy, and heart-meltingly sweet. He's about a year and a half old, a Lab/Pitty mix, and basically a walking ray of sunshine wrapped in fur. Tux is a lover, not a fighter; he's happiest when he's near his people, soaking up cuddles, belly rubs, and compliments. He's a total snuggle bug who thinks being close to you is the best thing ever. You'll often find him leaning his whole body against you for pets or flopping onto his back, paws in the air, begging for tummy scratches.
Ideal Home
Tux is hoping for a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and do his silly zoomies. Apartments are not his thing; he's more of a suburban country club kind of guy. His dream home would have patient, loving humans who think a little goofiness makes life better, possibly another friendly dog, and definitely a comfy couch for snuggling.
Ongoing Health
Tux is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Tux is working on his leash skills and prefers open spaces over city sidewalks. He is potty trained and sleeps through the night, exhibiting great manners once he's settled in.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can pick up your pet in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
