Cooper

Cooper is a 9-year-old Chihuahua who has made wonderful progress in his foster home! He's a delightful little companion who loves spending time in the garden and going for walks. Cooper has a sweet singing voice and enjoys harmonizing when his foster mom plays the piano. He came to us from the Windsor Humane Society, and while he's had a bit of a journey, he's now ready to find his forever family.

Ideal Home

Cooper would thrive in a calm, quiet, adult-only home. A house with a fully fenced yard is recommended as he enjoys his time outdoors. He prefers not to be left alone for long periods and would do best with someone who is home during the day. Cooper is best as the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

Cooper recently had dental work where a benign tumor was removed from his mouth. While there's a chance it could grow back, he's recovering well. He also has some arthritis in his right rear leg, which may require pain medication in the future, but his mobility is currently good. Cooper is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cooper is house-trained and well-mannered. He may bark a little when someone comes to the door. He enjoys his walks and is friendly towards people he meets.
