Bella is a 1.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix weighing 56 pounds, and she’s currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX. Once an approved adopter is lined up, she can transport out of state (arranged by our rescue!).
Meet Bella. She is a smart, affectionate girl with a goofy streak and a love for the simple things in life. Bella is affectionate, smart, and outgoing with people. She loves scratches, stuffed bones, and being included in whatever you’re doing. She’s fully housetrained, crate trained and settles nicely in her crate without any fuss. She’s got a nice moderate energy level too. She is happy to go for walks or play a bit, ride in the car and gaze out the window, but equally content rolling dramatically onto her back in the grass to sunbathe without care in the world.
Ideal Home
Bella’s ideal home is one where she can be the center of attention without other pets around. She’d do well with adults or a family with older kids (10+) because she’s strong and sometimes forgets her size. She doesn’t need a nonstop active lifestyle, just people who enjoy having a sweet, silly dog to share life with.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Like all dogs, Bella has her quirks. She does need to be the only dog in the home, as she’s much more comfortable when she doesn’t have to interact closely with other dogs. She’s working on her “leave it” skills during walks and will do best with continued structure and guidance.
