Carmel is a delightful Shih Tzu / Havanese mix who was rescued from a high-kill shelter due to her wonderful temperament and the immense love she has to offer a forever family. This sweet girl is gaining confidence daily, and her playful, friendly, and absolutely gorgeous personality is shining through! Carmel's tail is always wagging with a smile on her darling face, making her a truly happy-go-lucky companion. She's a perfect size and weight to accompany her family on adventures and will fit right into virtually any situation. Carmel's dream is a forever Colorado home where she'll be cherished for life. She loves to please and will blossom into a fuzzy ball of good-will as she becomes more comfortable. Carmel would love to be included in family time and activities, with plenty of lap-time and belly rubs! She would be an ideal companion for active retirees with the time and desire to be best friends with this silly, fun-loving pup, or for a family with a home-based office. Transporation
Carmel will be arriving on transport on Saturday, July 11, 2026. She is currently in Colorado and can be transported to a new home within the state.
