Winter

Meet Winter! This spirited three-year-old German Shepherd is a radiant blend of confidence and kindness, wrapped in a stunning, all-black, long-haired coat. She's purebred and undeniably eye-catching, with chocolate fondue eyes and a joyful personality that makes every day brighter. Winter loves being part of everything her family does, is gentle with children, and lights up when another dog is ready to play. She handles short periods alone with ease but is happiest when she can share daily life with those she loves. Winter is eager to learn and has completed over 20 training classes, earning titles in agility, nosework, obedience, and more. She's a Canine Good Citizen and has Trick Dog Novice and Intermediate titles. Despite her accomplishments, she enjoys lazy mornings and is content with quiet evenings. Her favorite activities include romping with other dogs, playing hide-and-seek, splashing in a kiddie pool, car rides, and pup cups.

Ideal Home

Winter would thrive in a loving home where she can remain an active part of family life. She would especially enjoy having another friendly dog to share her days with, and a fenced yard would give her space to stretch her legs and cool off in her favorite kiddie pool. Her compatibility with cats is still unknown.

Ongoing Health

Winter receives a simple monthly injection to manage mild arthritis in her left hip. This condition was discovered during a preventive X-ray when she was spayed and has remained completely symptom-free. Her future family should continue protecting her joints by limiting repetitive high-impact activities and following her straightforward treatment plan.

Training & Support

Winter is house-trained, crate trained, microchipped, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and comes when called.
