Rufus

Rufus has the kindest eyes you'll ever see, and they seem to say "everything's going to be okay." This 2-year-old, neutered Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix weighs about 15 lbs and is currently underweight, but we expect him to reach a healthy 18-20 lbs. He's a true companion, always wanting to be near his people, whether it's snuggled on the couch or following you from room to room. Despite a difficult past where he was abandoned and left to fend for himself for days, Rufus remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to shower his family with love. He's gentle, affectionate, and has a happy, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Rufus would thrive in a home that is looking for a true companion, a loyal sidekick, a couch buddy, and a walking partner. He deserves a family who will love him and never leave him behind again.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is currently underweight and is expected to reach a healthy weight of 18-20 lbs. He has been neutered. As a Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix, he will likely require regular grooming.

Training & Support

Rufus is crate trained and settles quietly in his crate. He is still working on house training, but we suspect this will improve with a consistent routine. He occasionally engages in gentle puppy-style play nibbles.
