Meet Domino, or as he's known and loved around here, Finn! Finn is a two-year-old handsome fellow who is the ultimate companion for anyone whose love languages are physical touch and quality time. He's a true "Velcro dog," wanting to be by your side for every adventure, whether it's a car ride, a coffee shop visit, a brewery outing, or simply snuggling on the couch. Finn believes your business is his business, and he's eager to "help" with daily tasks, making him the perfect personal assistant who works for belly rubs and affection.
Finn loves meeting new people and is very friendly with other dogs he encounters. He's generally a good boy on leash, though his enthusiasm for sniffing and greeting other dogs can sometimes be a delightful distraction. Fetch isn't his favorite game, but he excels at wrestling, roughhousing, and tug-of-war, making him a fantastic playmate. While he enjoys water for drinking (hose water is a favorite!), swimming is still a bit of a mystery to him.
Finn does have a prey drive, especially when small animals are involved, so a home that can manage this instinct is important. He is housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He also settles in well after a day of fun and sniffing, and his ideal sleeping arrangement is right next to his people.
Ideal Home
Finn would thrive in a home with multiple people and a lot of companionship, as he experiences some anxiety when left alone. An active lifestyle where he can be included in daily activities is ideal. He is not comfortable around young children, so a home without them would be the best fit.
Ongoing Health
Finn has some anxiety that is a work in progress. Because of this, crate training is still being worked on, and he may show signs of distress like scratching or chewing if left in a crate. He has also had a few accidents related to anxiety.
Training & Support
Finn is housebroken and communicates his need to go outside. While he enjoys interactive play like wrestling and tug-of-war, fetch is not his preferred game. He is still working on being comfortable with crate training when left alone.
