Barney Beefcake Bliss

Squishy, splooty, and spectacularly unbothered... this is Barney. A low-riding, soft-hearted gentleman with a built-in off switch and a very serious commitment to comfort. He's the kind of dog who treats life like a cozy Sunday afternoon... all day, every day. He's estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. He looks like a bulldog/staffie mix, but as always, our best guess. What we do know for sure is that Barney has mastered the art of being chill. His foster describes him as easygoing, affectionate, and wonderfully low-key. He lives with multiple dogs of all sizes and ages and gets along beautifully with everyone, happily coexisting and minding his own business. Barney doesn't need the spotlight. He's more of a "I'll be right here if you need me" kind of companion. He's confident and loving with people, happy to accept affection. He greets the world with a calm curiosity, takes everything in stride, and if something isn't his vibe, he simply turns away and carries on.

Ideal Home

Barney would thrive in a home that appreciates a slower pace and doesn't expect playful, high-energy antics. He would do best in a home without lots of stairs due to his sturdy build and low-to-the-ground frame. A cat-free home is a must.
