About Winnie

Hello everyone! My name is Winnie. I was born on October 11, 2020, and I weigh about 47 pounds. I've been with my foster mom for a while, waiting for the perfect match, but it's been a bit of a wait through no fault of my own! I absolutely love other dogs and have made many furry friends during my stay. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I can't resist a new best friend! I'm also a big fan of my humans and will happily snuggle up on your lap if you'll let me. I'm a very sweet girl, though sometimes I get a little bossed around by more dominant pups, so I'm looking for a home with another dog who is a bit less assertive. I'm generally laid-back and enjoy lounging in my favorite spots, like the back of a chair or even upside down on the sofa! I get really excited when you come home, during meal times, and when I'm playing – especially if there are squirrels involved! I'm a smart cookie and can jump quite high, even over baby gates, so I'll need some guidance on where I'm allowed to roam. A yard is a must for me, and it should have a 5 to 6-foot fence. Oh, and a heads-up, I shed quite a bit, similar to a Golden Retriever! My foster mom says my fellow shedding Doodle and I are practically Goldens.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home with another less dominant dog to be my best friend. A yard with a 5 to 6-foot fence is essential for me to explore and play safely.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on all my vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea prevention. I am also microchipped and spayed.

Training & Support

I am a smart girl and can jump high, even over baby gates, so I'll need some training to learn where I'm not supposed to go.
