Dottie

Dottie is a sweet 3-year-old, 55-pound Heeler mix who is looking for her forever home. She's a very loving girl who gets along wonderfully with people, other dogs, and even cats! Dottie is also housebroken and does well in her kennel when she has her own space. Unfortunately, Dottie experienced a difficult situation where she was bred and almost died nursing puppies. Her original owner took her back and recognized she deserved a better life, so they reached out to us for help. Now spayed, vetted, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Dottie is ready to leave her past behind and embrace a bright future.

Ideal Home

Dottie thrives in a home where she can get plenty of love and attention. She's good with other dogs and cats, making her a great addition to many families.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is heartworm negative. She does need to lose a few pounds to reach a healthy weight.

Training & Support

Dottie is housebroken and crate trained. She can become anxious and nip out of frustration if confined in a small space with other dogs, so a home that understands her needs and can give her adequate personal space will be ideal.
