Mojo

Mojo is an 8½-year-old male German Shepherd with a truly remarkable comeback story. He and his mom were found abandoned and living in squalor, and when Mojo arrived in 2024, he was in poor physical condition with severe genetic hip issues, making walking painful and limiting his movement. After undergoing successful bilateral hip surgeries, Mojo is now living his best life, running with enthusiasm and making up for lost time! He is wonderful with people, affectionate, gentle, and a true love sponge once he bonds with you. Mojo is also good with other dogs, provided they are respectful and don't engage in rough play, as his hip surgeries require him to avoid body slams. He would do best with children over 10 who understand how to interact gently with dogs.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair climbing isn't required. He gets around well, but fewer stairs would be ideal. Cats and small animals are a firm no for Mojo.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has undergone bilateral hip surgeries.

Training & Support

Mojo is well-mannered, house-trained, and easy to live with. He knows how to settle and relax and enjoy being part of a household.
