Meet Chewy, the loyal blue merle with the biggest heart! This stunning 2-year-old Aussiedoodle weighs about 50 pounds and is every bit as special on the inside as he is on the outside. With his striking blue merle coat, one mesmerizing blue eye, one warm brown eye, and his adorable kangaroo-like hops when he gets excited, Chewy is a dog you won't soon forget.
Chewy came to our rescue from an abuse and neglect case, but you would never know it by the love he has to give. He's learning that the world is a safe place, and his confidence grows more every single day. As he learns to trust, he forms an incredibly deep and loyal bond with his people. He's doing wonderfully with both potty training and crate training. He happily goes right into his crate with a simple "get in your crate" command or for a treat, and he keeps his clean with no accidents. He's also quiet around the house and isn't much of a barker, making him an easy companion to live with. Chewy has a calmer demeanor than many Aussiedoodles. While he enjoys going for walks and occasionally bouncing around like a little kangaroo when he gets excited, he's mostly a laid-back, go-with-the-flow guy who simply enjoys being with his people. He walks beautifully on a leash and already knows "sit." He's very food-motivated, making him a joy to train, and we think he has endless potential to learn even more. Above all else, Chewy loves affection. He thrives on love, reassurance, and being close to the people he trusts. His gentle spirit, quiet nature, and unwavering loyalty make him the kind of dog who will become your very best friend. If you're looking for a breathtakingly handsome companion with a calm personality, a heart of gold, and enough loyalty to last a lifetime, Chewy is ready to be your forever sidekick.
