Socks

Socks is a 35-pound, 5-month-old terrier mix who was found abandoned in a park with his littermates. He's a sweet boy who is making great progress in his foster home, but he is still a bit skittish around new people and would benefit from a patient and understanding family to help him build his confidence. Socks gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs, and he's a very gentle companion. He's also 97% house-trained, which is a fantastic start!

Ideal Home

Socks would thrive in a home that can provide him with a quiet and predictable environment where he can continue to blossom. A home with other pets would be ideal, as he enjoys their company and has shown he can be gentle with them.

Ongoing Health

Socks has been spayed/neutered and is up-to-date on his rabies and DA2PP vaccines.

Training & Support

Socks needs a little more work on building his confidence. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will surely become an even more outgoing and happy pup.
