Max

Max is a loving, smart goofball who enjoys walks, playing with furry friends, puzzle toys, chewing bones, and snuggling. He is a 2-year-old, 72 lb Lab mix who was surrendered when his family moved to a no-pet apartment. Max previously lived with small dogs and children, and he enjoys meeting neighborhood kids and wants to play with them. He walks well on a harness and is house and crate trained. Max can be vocal, making "Scooby sounds" when you get home, which is his way of showing he missed you. He came to us shy but has gained confidence and his playfulness shines through. Max would love a home with another dog to play with, as he enjoys playing chase with a similarly sized dog. He can live in a home with or without a fence, as long as he gets his daily walks. Max will make a great walking or hiking buddy as he loves to explore and discover new smells.

Max would love a home where he has another pup to play with and someone to go on walks and hikes with.
