Pookie aka Penny

Penny is a medium-sized, approximately 4-year-old, 65lb Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give. She's a sweet and loyal companion who is eager to find her human soulmate and truly believes you're as awesome as she is! Penny is a smart girl who is very people-focused, which will be a great asset for continued training. She already knows "sit," is house-trained, walks reasonably well on a leash, and is a fantastic car rider! While she's a quick learner, she could benefit from some fine-tuning on her obedience skills, like not jumping when she gets excited and improving her recall. Further training will also help her gain confidence in new situations. Penny would thrive as a true member of your daily life and would love a home with a backyard. She's not reactive to dogs and is okay with non-reactive dogs, but she needs a feline-free home. Although she's not leash reactive to children, she hasn't been tested in a home environment with them and can jump up when excited, so small children are not recommended.

Penny is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support
