Hiromi is a beautiful Belgian Malinois mix with a heart full of love to give! This sweet 4-year-old, approximately 36 lb lady was rescued from the streets of Matamoros, Mexico, where she faced tough times. Despite her past, Hiromi's spirit remained bright, and she has blossomed into a happy, healthy dog eager to find her forever family. She's active, playful, and loves spending time with her people. Hiromi can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but her affectionate and loving nature quickly shines through once she feels secure. She's already crate and leash trained, making her a fantastic companion for adventures. Hiromi is intelligent and thrives with regular exercise and mental stimulation, making her a wonderful partner for an active family.
Ideal Home
Hiromi would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with a deep understanding of rescue animals, their potential behavioral needs, and a genuine commitment to providing the love, patience, and education she deserves. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a professional trainer is a must to help this intelligent girl reach her full potential.
Ongoing Health
Hiromi has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet. Please note that like many rescued dogs, Hiromi may require an adjustment period to her new home.
Training & Support
Hiromi is not house-trained, and patience and understanding are crucial for her adjustment period. She is crate and leash trained. Families should be prepared to invest time and effort in her training and provide a stable, loving environment.
