About Lucky Lindley
Hey there - I'm Lucky Lindley, a 5-month-old brown and white mixed breed pup with a whole lot of life ahead of me! Already neutered and ready to roll, I'm an adventurous, energetic guy who loves to explore and cuddle up when playtime is done. At 20 pounds, I'm the perfect medium-sized companion for families who can keep up with my puppy energy and give me the love I'm eager to return. Come meet me today!
Behavior Notes Per volunteer 6/21: Lucky lindley is the sweetest young boy. He was jumping at the front of his kennel ready to get out! Easy out. Once in play yard he ran a few laps then was very handler oriented looking at me and engaging me in play. He loves toys! Very treat motivated. Allowed all over handling. Leans in for kisses. He's so good and already knows sit! This young guy has so much love to give. He was also amazing in playgroup
Playgroup 6/19: Not steerable 1/5 water and 0 can. Loose and wiggly in the yard, started out overwhelmed by Mora's rough play. Dogs similar size came in, engaged in push pull play with other dogs, did some puppy mouthing. Enjoyed playing with Levine.
Volunteer 6/18/26: took out adorable Lucky Lindley last night. He was jumpy in his kennel. Once I got him leashed, we walked out to the yard and was he fun! He loved playing fetch with toys, running around and was such a good boy. He was a bit jumpy, but not mouthy at all! And he gives lots of kisses! He also easily returned to his kennel.
Volunteer 6/14/26:Kennel Presentation: very loose and wiggly in his side bank kennel, trying to push out of the door.
Leash Skills: Allowed me to leash him and carry him out (due to age) without issue. The leash was initially around his leg too and I removed his leg easily.
Sociability: Super social in the yard! Loose, jumpy, and playful. He was snatchy with treats (as expected for a puppy this age). He knows sit and loves pets, leaning into them gently. Super goofy and easy to handle, allows pets all over and solicits lots of attention! Allowed me to bathe him and towel him off easily (with peanut butter smeared on the wall).
Play: Loves fetch with a squeaky toy. He brought the toy back to me and either dropped it or played tug for a second, then dropped. Allowed me to reach for and take the toy easily.
Dog Interaction: very interested through the fence with a loose, wiggly body and occasional vocalizations.
Return to Kennel: Went into his kennel easily, tried to push out slightly when I closed the door. I removed the leash overhead.
Color Level: Gold
Recommendations and considerations: Toss treats, he's a snatchy young puppy!
