Vector

Vector is a delightful pup with a great need for activity and companionship! He's eager to join you on hikes, runs, and play sessions, and will be a loyal friend by your side as you work. These dogs thrive on loving companionship and enjoy power walks and jogs, needing about 60 to 80 minutes of exercise per day, broken into 3-4 sessions. Agility or obedience training would be perfect for keeping his intelligent mind engaged. Be aware that he may display herding behaviors like chasing and circling, which is instinctual for his breed.

Ideal Home

A home with an active lifestyle that can provide ample exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced area for off-leash play would be a plus.

Ongoing Health

Vector will receive a full medical assessment before leaving Cortez Rescue to ensure he remains in optimum health.

Training & Support

Vector is sensitive and highly trainable, responding best to calm, firm, and consistent training methods. Avoid physical force or anger. Early training to manage herding instincts like chasing and nipping will be beneficial.
