Meet Hardy! This sweet 16-pound Miniature Pinscher mix, born on December 7, 2019, has been through so much. He was found on the Hardy Toll road, likely hit by a car and attacked by other dogs. It's evident he was an unloved outdoor dog, perhaps a former breeder. After over two years of dedicated healing, Hardy is now a well-tempered boy who loves snuggles on the sofa, fluffy blankets, and car rides. He gets along wonderfully with all the other fosters.

Hardy would thrive in a quieter home without small children. He's still a bit timid on leash and would do best in a home with a securely fenced backyard. He should not have doggie doors or unfenced inground pools. Patience and a willingness to earn the trust of a rescue dog are key.
