Meet Sasha! 💛
Sasha is a beautiful, approximately 65 lb Mountain Cur mix, possibly with some Catahoula in her lineage. Born around July 2, 2023, this active girl has a tender heart and a zest for life. She was found wandering the streets of Northeast Texas and spent four long months in a shelter. Despite the stressful environment, Sasha was a staff favorite, charming everyone with her soft eyes, gentle affection, and playful spirit. When her name appeared on the euthanasia list, the dedicated shelter staff rallied for her, recognizing her special nature. Thankfully, Our Pet Project stepped in to give her the second chance she so deeply deserved.
Now thriving in her foster home with two large dogs, one small dog, and a whole crew of cats, Sasha's true personality is shining. She is completely devoted, loyal, and affectionate, loving with her whole heart. Sasha is a world-class snuggler, curling up close, soaking in affection, and simply wanting to be near her people.
Ideal Home
Sasha will flourish in an active home that provides daily physical exercise and mental stimulation. She blossoms when she feels understood, guided, and included. After everything she’s been through, Sasha is ready for her forever family — a place where she can finally exhale, settle in, and know she is home.
Ongoing Health
Sasha is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Sasha is crate trained and housebroken. She is thoughtful, attentive, and eager to learn. She has a playful energy that is balanced with calm affection.
