Meet Sadie!
Sadie is a spirited, almost three-year-old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix with expressive eyes and a tail that rarely stops wagging. Her gorgeous gray and tan coat is as beautiful as her joyful personality. She's an adventurous soul who loves walks, hikes, and her all-time favorite game: fetch! While she's energetic and fun-loving, Sadie also has a gentle heart and forms deep bonds with her people. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she's a loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet. She needs a patient owner who can help her continue to develop her social skills with other animals. She has done wonderfully with children ages 3 to 9 and would likely enjoy a family environment.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is a healthy girl who is crate-trained and house-trained. She does require a consistent routine, especially with potty breaks, as she may have occasional accidents on rainy days.
Training & Support
Sadie is smart, responsive, and eager to please. She knows basic commands like "sit" and walks well on a leash. She is food-motivated, which can be a great tool for training. To help her feel comfortable with new people, try offering her a toy or a treat.
