Dexter

Dexter is a wonderfully goofy and happy young boy, weighing around 50 lbs. He's a mix of Standard Schnauzer and Irish Wolfhound, truly embodying the "Professional Good Boy" breed. Dexter is excellent with people, walks beautifully on a leash, and is highly motivated by praise and treats. He's an expert at making you laugh with his puppy antics and has earned a certification as a Gentle Giant! While he's mostly mastered commands like sit, down, up, and off, he's still learning the concepts of personal space and might occasionally forget he's not a lap dog. Dexter is ready to start his new career as your best friend immediately, with benefits including belly rubs, snacks, squeaky toys, and occasional couch privileges. He was found wandering and sadly, his previous family chose not to welcome him back. Despite this, Dexter's capacity for love remains immense, and he's eager to shower a new family with affection.

Ideal Home

Dexter would thrive in a home that enjoys playing and going on walks. He's a young, energetic pup who would benefit from a family that can help him continue learning and growing.

Ongoing Health

Dexter has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all his vaccines.

Training & Support

Dexter is still learning about personal space and may occasionally forget he's not a lap dog. He's highly motivated by praise and treats, which will be great assets in his continued training.
