Kelso

Kelso is a wonderful dog with a heartbreaking past. He was adopted as a puppy, and what seemed like a happy foster fail turned into a devastating abandonment when he was left at a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, we were able to bring him into our care. Despite everything he's endured, Kelso is an incredibly resilient and loving companion. He has a proven track record of thriving with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained, kennel-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has an easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. Kelso knows his basic commands and truly loves everyone he meets. He enjoys walks, lounging indoors or outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with his people. He's not a demanding dog; he simply longs for a family who will cherish him and provide the forever home he deserves.

Ideal Home

Kelso would love a family that will commit to him and never abandon him again. He has successfully lived with a young child and other dogs, so he could potentially do well in a home with a similar setup.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained and kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He knows his basic commands.
